Juan Manuel Cicuéndez was born in the Spanish region of "La Mancha" or better "In a village of La Mancha...". His early years were full of sky, land, slow moving clouds and breezes sweeping vineyards, infinite silences... and the kind of light that lends its magic to the manchego landscape.
Like
the unforgettable knight Don Quixote, he left his home to seek adventure
armed with his weapons (ink pens, pencils and paintbrushes). One night
in an old pensión in Madrid he accepted the biggest challenge that
a man can confront: the fight to be oneself above all else.
Many
long years have passed and Juan Manuel Cicuéndez (Cic) has remained
faithful to his career as an artist and has never strayed from this path
with the end result being a solid artistic background which encompasses
Europe and America.
